PRESENTER: Dr. Abe Bakhsheshy
PROFESSOR & LECTURER
University of UtahDr. Abe Bakhsheshy is the University of Utah Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Professor and Director and Professor and Lecturer of Organizational Behavior at the Eccles School of Business. He has more than 37 years of leadership experience, including seven years of executive level positions overseas working with multinational corporations.
Dr. Abe has received the United States Higher Education Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015, the State of Utah Chamber of Commerce & United Way New Pioneer American Dream Award in 2017, the University of Utah Executive MBA Distinguished Teaching Award in 2018, Distinguished Online Teaching Award 2019 and the Online Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020.
He is a four-time recipient of the Executive MBA Distinguished Teaching Award, two-time recipient of the Professional MBA Excellence in Teaching Award most recently in 2015, two-time recipient of the Masers Teaching Excellence Award, two-time recipient of the Brady Superior Teaching Award most recently in 2016, in addition to the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Leadership in Ethics Education Award, the 2009 University of Utah Distinguished Teaching Award and the Marvin Ashton Excellence in Teaching Award as well as many others.
His areas of interest in research and teaching include leadership and effective management, human resources management, Emotional Intelligence, ethics and social responsibility, teamwork and effective health care system delivery.

LCA BankTravis Betenson has worked in the banking and financial services industries since 2010 and has held several roles in accounting, finance and treasury. He recently joined LCA Bank and Lease Corporation of America as the CFO. Previously, Mr. Betenson was CFO of First Electronic Bank, where he oversaw the accounting, treasury and FP&A functions, assisting the bank in achieving significant loan and revenue growth. Mr. Betenson began his career in Banking at Comenity Capital Bank where he held various accounting and treasury positions. He holds an MBA from the University of Utah and is a Certified Treasury Professional.
